TINO HORAT
The Swiss pianist Tino Horat received his profound and versatile piano education at the Lucerne School of Music (Switzerland), where he studied classical piano pedagogy (with Prof. Grazia Wendling) and then Jazz Performance (with Prof. Chris Wiesendanger, Hans Feigenwinter, Jean-Paul Brodbeck and Christoph Boots).
His professional career took him through several stylistically very different stages. He attended jazz master classes with Mark Levine, Hal Crook and Kenny Werner, played with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and the 21st Century Orchestra, accompanied choirs and vocal soloists, and toured with some of Switzerland’s most successful pop bands. He also worked regularly for productions of Swiss television (“The Voice of Switzerland” and “The Greatest Swiss Talents”).
