James Mironchik

James has been living in Hamburg for over 9 years, arriving from New York City. Music Direction has always been his focus, but along the way he’s also worked as an arranger, composer, conductor, keyboard programmer, etc., for National Tours, on Broadway, and television. Upon moving to Hamburg he was fortunate to jump right into the theater scene here, playing and working with various shows; as rehearsal pianist and sub musician for “Sister Act”, sub musician at “Rocky”, “Wunder von Bern”, Ich war noch niemals in New York”, and as music Director for last year’s English Theater production of “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”. He also keeps busy writing orchestrations and choral arrangements as well as working at various performing arts schools and academies. Of course as a pianist/keyboard player he is called on regularly to perform in a wide range of styles and situations, from solo programs with various singers, to concerts and performances in venues ranging from the Engelsaal to the O2 arena.
